Prive — Website Connect

Prototype of Prive, an unofficial Telegram client. Website visitors and advertisers are both Prive users; chats started from a website button run in Website Connect mode — no contacts exchanged, moderated by the website.

How to test (use two browsers/devices, or one normal + one private window)
  1. Visitor: open the demo website, tap Chat on Prive on a listing. Prive opens: Connect with your Telegram number — e.g. +34 600 000 201 (Ana) or any new number — and enter the demo SMS code 12345 shown on screen. Tick the consent box (“Website chat moderator can see your private contact details”) — the chat opens in purple Website Connect mode with an alias like Visitor #4821.
  2. Advertiser: on another device open /app, log in with the listing owner's number (e.g. +34 600 000 101 Sunny Apartments), open the Website Connect tab and reply. Neither side sees the other's username, name or phone.
  3. Try to leak contacts both ways — “+34 612 345 678”, “mark at gmail dot com”, “insta: @mark.x” — they arrive as ••• hidden. Copy/forward/add-contact/export are disabled in these chats.
  4. Website chat moderator: log in with +34 600 000 001 (Costa Anuncios owner) or +34 600 000 002 (Laura), open My Website: stats, filters, every Website Connect chat of the site with participants' real contact details + consent time. Open a chat to Take over, reply as the advertiser, as Assistant or as yourself, then Hand back.
  5. Normal chats: ana ↔ luis in the Chats tab show real usernames and allow contacts/forward/export — and never appear in My Website.

⚠️ Simulation: the SMS code and the "automatic import of your Telegram contacts" are simulated in this prototype — each demo number comes with a seeded contact list (any other number imports Ana and Luis). The real Prive app, being a Telegram client fork, logs in with Telegram's real code and gets your contacts natively through Telegram's API. Website chat moderators only see the contact details of participants who consented in that site's Website Connect chats — never anyone's contact list.
